The Scientist, an international news magazine for life scientists, has launched a completely new design for its Web site, (www.the-scientist.com) to reflect the new format and style adopted by the print publication last January.

(Philadelphia, PA - August 2002) - The Scientist, an international news magazine for life scientists, has launched a completely new design for its Web site, (www.the-scientist.com) to reflect the new format and style adopted by the print publication last January.

The site's fresh design effectively present it's bi-weekly content and provides easy navigation for its audience of more than 425,000 registered users. A daily news service, where reporters from London and New York report on breaking news in the world of science, is just one new feature implemented to encourage users to visit more frequently.

The 16-year full-text archive of The Scientist back issues has also been completed. This electronic archive makes the earliest issues from the 1980s available, offering a fascinating glimpse of the concerns of scientists over the years.
