All those British whistleblowers wondering who they should tell about the medical research misconduct going on under their noses now have a hotline direct to the very people who can do something about it. That's right, by calling 0844 77 00 644, anyone involved in issues related to misconduct in research can confess all to the nice people at the UK Panel for Research Integrity in Health and Biomedical Sciences. The hotline, launched, launched Friday, is reportedly completely confidential, and callers will be provided with guidance on how to handle allegations of misconduct. Call between 8 am and 8 pm Monday to Friday. It'll cost 3 pennies a minute if you call from a land-line. (Then call us!)
