Eli Lilly Helps Women Chemists Travel
Women undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral chemists who wish to present their research results at meetings can apply for travel grants provided by Eli Lilly & co. and administered by the American Chemical Society's Women Chemists Committee. Money is intended for travel to, registration at, and accommodations for scientific meetings within the continental United States for women who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
This is a one-time-only award. Ideally, recipients will be making their first presentation at a major meeting. Only one applicant from any research project will receive assistance.
For consideration, an applicant should provide a resume, an abstract of the work to be presented, a letter from her adviser, and an estimate of expenses. Awards will be granted based on scientific merit and financial need. Deadlines for applications ...
