I am excited about the research in gene therapy for hemophilia.1 I have lived with hemophilia A for 57 years; however, my bleeding episodes are not as severe as Don Miller's. I have worked in construction all my life as a steel fabricator. I can stop flesh wounds with direct pressure, but bruising is my major problem. A bad bruise can put me down for a while. My bleeding history is different enough to warrant tests to see if your gene therapy is effective on my level of hemophilia.
