Vector Laboratories, a leader in the development and manufacture of labeling and detection reagents for biomedical research, introduces VECTASHIELD® Vibrance™ – antifade mounting media that delivers significant improvements to the immunofluorescence workflow. VECTASHIELD Vibrance produces increased brightness over the entire visible spectrum, including far-red fluorophores, compared to existing mounting-media offerings. VECTASHIELD Vibrance produces ultra-low background to provide a clean, crisp image, enabling researchers to study finer details and cellular markers. Blue background is eliminated with VECTASHIELD Vibrance, which ensures high contrast, and a uniform sheet of the new media produces virtually no bubbles to detract from the quality of the slide.

Offered with and without DAPI counterstain, VECTASHIELD Vibrance mounted slides can be stored at room temperature, providing increased flexibility and options for archiving. Specimens mounted with VECTASHIELD Vibrance can be viewed in one hour instead of the recommended 24 hours for other media. VECTASHIELD Vibrance is offered in 2 ...
