This 1988 Buyers Guide of specialty gases provides information on 59 pure gases and hydrocarbon liquids in up to seven purity grades, as well as more than 200 gas mixtures. New product listings include hydrogen chloride mixtures with guaranteed stability, Micrograv ppb gas mixtures, Scotty disposable cylinders, pure fluids and mixtures for supercritical fluid chromatography, and gas distribution systems. Using enzyme electrodes, the model 2000 automated analyzer provides real-time glucose and L-lactate measurements simultaneously in fermentation broths and cell cultures. Within 60 seconds the analyzer can yield glucose readings in a range of 0.00-20.0 g/L and L-lactate levels between 0.00-2.00 g/L. The analyzer calibrates itself and has an optional sample changer.
