PEER REVIEWED » Interested in the NIH's ongoing review of how it reviews grant applications? The agency's Peer Review Advisory Committee meets again on April 30. Current proposals to change the agency's review system including shortening applications, establishing a "not recommended for resubmission" category (so applicants don't waste time with fruitless revisions), and create incentives for scientists to serve as peer reviewers.
