
Charles Nemeroff, MD, PhD
Charles Nemeroff is chair and professor with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He is co-director of the Charmaine and Gordon McGill Center for Psychedelic Research and Therapy, and director of the Institute for Early Life Adversity Research. He received his medical degree and doctorate degrees in neurobiology from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency training at UNC and Duke University.
