MicroRNAs play an important role in modulating gene expression. Characterizing the mechanism of action of microRNAs and identifying microRNA targets is critical for understanding the function of microRNA in development and disease. The Scientist brings together a panel of experts to discuss various microRNA functions. Topics to be covered include the role of microRNA in cancer and viral infection, and the therapeutic targeting of microRNA. Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with the experts, ask questions and seek advice on topics that are unique to their research.
