An informative video interview (1) with Professor Steve Conlan of the College of Medicine at Swansea University (UK) highlights the latest research developments in women’s reproductive health using unique molecular biology tools.

Developed by Prof Conlan in conjunction with Porvair Sciences, the Chromatrap solid state ChIP assay enables more tissue biopsies to be profiled for epigenetic landscape in less time and with greater efficiency than previously possible. Prof Conlan explains the aims of his group’s work towards regenerative and personalised medicine therapies for the treatment of common gynaecological conditions such as ovarian and endometrial cancers and the role that the new Chromatrap ChIP assay tool has played in allowing faster progress in this research area.
