This species of the jellyfish is undescribed, but it’s thought to belong to the genus Bathykorus, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). NOAA’s ROV Deep Discover captured footage of this creature in the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument, as part of an Okeanos Explorer expedition.
