Kapa Biosystems, Inc. today announced the launch of the latest library preparation products for Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) DNA and RNA analysis. The new KAPA HyperPlus Kit is an integrated DNA fragmentation and library preparation solution, enabling industry-leading library construction efficiency and more uniform sequencing coverage. The new KAPA Stranded RNA-Seq Kit with RiboErase offers efficient ribosomal RNA (rRNA) depletion, resulting in comprehensive representation of the transcriptome. Kapa Biosystems, in partnership with key customers, is presenting recent product performance data at the 2015 Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) Meeting in Marco Island, FL on February 25th – 28th.

These latest NGS library preparation products offer significant workflow and performance advantages compared to competitive offerings:

KAPA HyperPlus Kit – Streamlined, single-tube workflow that enables DNA fragmentation and library preparation in 2.5 hours with minimal hands on time. The KAPA HyperPlus Kit provides the same low-bias, high-quality benefits of mechanical shearing—without ...
