A reconstruction of three neurons that span the mouse brain. MOUSELIGHT PROJECT TEAM, JANELIA RESEARCH CAMPUS Mapping different neurons in the mouse brain is challenging, as many of them form complex tracts that wind throughout the tissue. Scientists from Janelia Research Campus have succeeded in visualizing 300 of the nearly 70 million neurons in the mouse brain.
