Nanopore sequencing decodes DNA and RNA sequences by detecting changes in the electrical current as nucleic acids pass through a nanopore. Researchers recently developed a new method for identifying amino acids with nanopore technology, thus opening the door for protein sequencing. In this webinar brought to you by The Scientist, Aleksei Aksimentiev and Stefan Howorka will discuss the importance of protein sequencing, how nanopore-based protein sequencing works, and the potential unlocked by this new discovery.
