It’s time for The Scientist to find the best and brightest innovations that have burst onto the scene in the past year. The 2013 installment of our annual Top 10 Innovations competition is now underway, and we’re ready to receive your submission and hear about why your innovation is poised to change the way life scientists work.

In previous renditions we’ve singled out next-gen sequencers, cutting-edge microscopes, and futuristic genetic modification technologies—all products that are continuing to revolutionize research and our understanding of the world.

You can enter your laboratory tool, technology, software, methodology, or product for a chance to win a coveted spot in our Top 10 Innovations of 2013, as ranked and rated by an expert panel of independent judges. Submissions will be accepted from today (April 15) until September 17, and the winners will be announced on December 1, with a feature-length article highlighting this year’s Top 10 in the December issue of The Scientist.

Find complete rules and the submission form here. Enter your innovation today!
