Single cell sequencing experiments allow scientists to measure differences in gene expression to characterize cell types and quantify cell population heterogeneity. When analyzing tissue for oncology research, samples must transform into clean single cell suspensions free of debris, aggregates, and dead cells for best results. However, each tissue type is unique, so scientists should optimize their sample preparation protocols prior to starting any single cell experiment.

This Technique Talk will highlight the best practices for preparing cancer tissue samples for optimal target cell recovery in single cell protocols.
